Printing inTotes and Pallets

Note: The totes and pallets management options in this screen are identical (although totes and pallets are configured separately - see Using Totes and Pallets). The remainder of this section will refer to totes throughout, but is equally applicable to pallets.

To print a list of tote or pallet activity for one trading partner:

1. When you first enter into this option, a Select An Option window appears with the following options:

• EXIT – Select EXIT to exit the Totes and Pallets option.
• TOTES – Select TOTES to work with totes.
• PALLETS – Select PALLETS to work with pallets.

2. After selecting the TOTES or PALLETS a Select An Option window displays the following choices (based on whether you selected TOTES or PALLETS):

• EXIT – Select EXIT to the first window.
• VENDOR – Select VENDOR to adjust tote/pallet balances or list activity by date for selected vendors.
• CUSTOMER – Select CUSTOMER to adjust tote/pallet balances or list activity by date for selected customers.
• QUICK MAINTENANCE – Select QUICK MAINTENANCE to adjust many vendor or customer tote/pallet balances within the same editing screen.
• BALANCE REPORT – Select BALANCE REPORT to print balance reports for customers or vendors.
• CLEAR OUT TOTE/PALLET FILE – Select CLEAR OUT TOTE/PALLET FILE the to remove tote/pallet activity records by date.

Select either the CUSTOMER or VENDOR options from the window to adjust the count.

3. Specify the appropriate customer or vendor ID code.

4. The current tote balance is displayed in the Tote Balance field. A positive balance means that there are more totes out in the field than in-house. A negative balance means more totes were received in from your customer/vendor than were shipped out.

5. Command options will appear:

• Add Adjustment – Select Add Adjustment to create a new transaction.
• List Activity – Select List Activity to list tote/pallet activity.
• Exit – Select Exit to exit the option and return to first Select An Option window.

6. Select List Activity.

7. At the From Date and To Date fields, specify the date range you want to print.

8. Command options will appear:

• Print – Select Print to print the activity list.
• Change – Select Change to edit one of the listed transactions.
• Exit – Select Exit to exit the activity list.

Select Print.

9. Command options will appear allowing you to print or choose from a set of other print options.

The activity list prints the following information for the totes activity for the selected vendor or customer:

• Date – The starting date entered or the transaction date
• Ref – Either the sales order number or the purchase order reference number
• ADJ – The adjustment reference number
• In – The number of totes received
• Out – The number of totes shipped
• Balance – The cumulative tote balance for the customer/vendor
• Note – The note entered on the adjustment.

To print a list of tote or pallet activity for all trading partners:

1. When you first enter into this option, a Select An Option window appears with the following options:

• EXIT – Select EXIT to exit the Totes and Pallets option.
• TOTES – Select TOTES to work with totes.
• PALLETS – Select PALLETS to work with pallets.

2. After selecting the TOTES or PALLETS option a Select An Option window will appear; select BALANCE REPORT.

3. Command options will appear; select whether you want to run the report for customers, vendors, or both. Or, select Exit to exit and return to the second Select An Option window.

4. Command options will appear:

• Non-Zero Balances Only – Select Non-Zero Balances Only to run the report for customers and/or vendors with a non-zero balance.
• All – Select All to run the report for all customers/vendors.

5. Command options will appear allowing you to print or choose from a set of other print options.
